KISS-Keep It Sweet and Simple.
A basic concept, but one that as important as it is for transfering info, it is not used very much. I worry all the time that I have too much info on the anarchyhouseproject1.org/home site.
Most people want peace, but the system of order we have is not very peaceful. Most of the good intelectuals, and writers that have been theorizing for a long time, (too long, we should have had workable anarchy a long time ago), don't keep it simple. So sometimes when trying to get potential recruits interested, I have to refigure how to present info to keep it simple. If I don't, they will lose interest, and I will not have a recruit. People have grown up in the current order, and so have spent their whole lives in a system that is not based on much peace. To try to convince others is agonizingly difficult. I have taken to using to following approach, in part as a question aimed at Law EnForcement Officers, but it is applicable to every person.
""Commiting Conflict, to bring an Initiator of Conflict, or Conflictor, to Justice, is only justified because it reduces the overall level of conflict and is Only aimed at the Conflictor. If you commit an act of conflict without bringing anyone to Justice, you have not decreased Conflict, but increased it. You have chosen to commit a Crime Against Individual Humanity.
MY QUESTION TO LEO's-Do your actions reduce Conflict, (great) or Increase the overall level of Conflict, (minor tyranny). If you increase Conflict, then you are an Aggressor, a Tyrant.
LEO's must Choose to use Discretion.
Good people can, and should resist and ignore unjust law.""
Rather than try to use fancy pants principles, and systems, etc, I am trying to simplify the message, and still keep it relavent to trying to reduce violence. It is worded towards LEO's because they are the First Line of enForcement.
The more I think about it the more I like the focus on conflict. Conflict is not always bad, but it is frequently misused with disasterous results. (read any history of anarchy activism and you will know what I mean.) I think people as individuals can go a long way, if they are proactive about reducing conflict in their own lives and in their personal sphere of influence.
Reducing conflict is essentual if we are ever to have a workable anarchic order. War, conflict, is the health of the state, not the health of peaceful people. Only gov'ts survive well under a condition of perpetual warfare, not anarchists. (That should be obvious by now)
