Anarchy House Project
It is clear that the state is not going to just disappear. This is an attempt to live free, in spite of the state.

I have chosen the Keene area for the anarchy project to start, for a few reasons.  The biggest reason is the relatively large number of what I call 'out of the system' activists.  Many are not anarchists, but rather reformists of the minarchist kind that believe gov't will not be reformed from within, so they are focusing on changing it from the outside.  I like them because their means are the kind I like.  Good means are essentual for good ends.  Further, their efforts are attracting anarchists, such as myself, and that is happening on a continuel basis.  So the ideological shift is occuring, and is getting faster.    It is possible I could start the project based on those already here, and those moving here because of the activism.  Additional members are always welcome.    Other reasons I like this area is that it is relatively small, without being too small.  I got rid of my car, so my transportation is exclusively bicycle.  But the population is small.  This means there are less police, less busybodies, yet big enough to blend in to some degree.

It has most of the city convieniances, and annoyances.  It is possible the project would be easier in the country, it is also undesirable.  Frankly, I like the city.  I have always lived in the city.  I see no reason to allow gov't masters to boss me around here anymore than in the country.  There is just more of them.  Yet a vast majority of people in this world live in cities, and if we can establish a base of anarchy here, the possibility exists that it could happen anywhere.  The number of people that can copy our success and thus be helped is enourmous.

KISS-Keep It Sweet and Simple.

A basic concept, but one that as important as it is for transfering info, it is not used very much.  I worry all the time that I have too much info on the anarchyhouseproject1.org/home site.

Most people want peace, but the system of order we have is not very peaceful.  Most of the good intelectuals, and writers that have been theorizing for a long time, (too long, we should have had workable anarchy a long time ago), don't keep it simple.  So sometimes when trying to get potential recruits interested, I have to refigure how to present info to keep it simple.  If I don't, they will lose interest, and I will not have a recruit.  People have grown up in the current order, and so have spent their whole lives in a system that is not based on much peace.  To try to convince others is agonizingly difficult.  I have taken to using to following approach, in part as a question aimed at Law EnForcement Officers, but it is applicable to every person.

""Commiting Conflict, to bring an Initiator of Conflict, or Conflictor, to Justice, is only justified because it reduces the overall level of conflict and is Only aimed at the Conflictor. If you commit an act of conflict without bringing anyone to Justice, you have not decreased Conflict, but increased it. You have chosen to commit a Crime Against Individual Humanity.

MY QUESTION TO LEO's-Do your actions reduce Conflict, (great) or Increase the overall level of Conflict, (minor tyranny). If you increase Conflict, then you are an Aggressor, a Tyrant.

LEO's must Choose to use Discretion.

Good people can, and should resist and ignore unjust law
.""

Rather than try to use fancy pants principles, and systems, etc, I am trying to simplify the message, and still keep it relavent to trying to reduce violence.  It is worded towards LEO's because they are the First Line of enForcement.

The more I think about it the more I like the focus on conflict.  Conflict is not always bad, but it is frequently misused with disasterous results.  (read any history of anarchy activism and you will know what I mean.)  I think people as individuals can go a long way, if they are proactive about reducing conflict in their own lives and in their personal sphere of influence.

Reducing conflict is essentual if we are ever to have a workable anarchic order.  War, conflict, is the health of the state,  not the health of peaceful people.  Only gov'ts survive well under a condition of perpetual warfare, not anarchists.  (That should be obvious by now)

Just placed an ad in The Newhampshire Underground Free Press, also called The Keene Free Press.  I want to try to attract as many people as possible to this project.

If you are here after following the link in the ad, feel free to say hello.  That way I can judge the effectiveness of the ad, and decide wheather or not to continue.    Use the comments to say hello.  Feel free to ask any questions.

Consistent with no masters, mankind must choose as a way of life to live defensively.  He should drive defensively, he should not make long term agreements that are not enforceable, he can and should structure as many transactions as possible so that they remain mutually beneficial for both parties.  This reduces the likelyhood of one party violating an agreement.  These things are essentual to keeping the peace.

By trying to keep all your exchanges with others mutually benificial, you reduce the liklyhood for broken agreements and the resulting conflict.

Conflict avoidance is essentual for the anarchist.

Anarchy is about the choices you make regarding justce, respect, and the reciprocal rights of others.

We don't have any funtioning anarchist communities, because many anarchists are not willing to make those choices. They are content to vent anger about 'smashing the state', and fantasize about their communes, than to make the choices neccessary to bring a community together. Or they creat their own opposition, not by upholding some great principle or idea, but by hurting others by their 'crime ethic'.

If you are not willing to respect the rights of others, even those that you do not like, you are not ready for anarchy. You are more in need of a master.
